Peptide Dilution Calculator
Dilute a stock solution to a lower concentration. Fill in three values and leave one empty to solve for it.

Formula
C1 × V1 = C2 × V2, where C1 and V1 are the stock concentration and volume, and C2 and V2 are the final concentration and volume. Solvent to add = V2 − V1.
Worked example (mathematical example only): stock 10 mg/mL, final 2 mg/mL, final volume 5 mL. V1 = 2 × 5 ÷ 10 = 1 mL of stock plus 4 mL of solvent.
The final concentration cannot exceed the stock concentration, and the final volume cannot be smaller than the stock volume.
