Peptide Content, Purity & Assay Calculator
See how purity and assay change the amount of actual peptide in a weighed sample.

How it is calculated
Net peptide = gross weight × assay %. Absolute peptide = net peptide × purity %.
Assumptions: assay (net peptide content) is the share of the gross powder that is peptide, with the rest being water, counter-ions and salts. Purity is the share of that peptide material which is the target sequence, usually from HPLC. Labs report these differently, so check how your certificate defines each value.
Worked example (mathematical example only): 10 mg gross × 80% assay = 8 mg net; 8 mg × 98% purity = 7.84 mg absolute.
